Our luxurious air-conditioned 3 bedroom (2 masters), 2 bathroom penthouse apartment has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation in the heart of The Sunshine State. There is just over 1700 sq ft of air-conditioned living space and at the rear of the home is a fabulous balcony overlooking the tree-lined pathways and the picturesque pool area (see picture to the left.
The apartment is located at the Bahama
Bay Resort & Spa and is nestled alongside Lake Davenport in 70 acres of lush tropical surroundings. The resort is situated just off Highway 27 and is minutes from both Interstate 4 and Highway 192. It offers an ideal base with the gates of Walt Disney World being just 15 minutes drive away, as well as premium golf courses, shopping facilities, bars and restaurants only minutes from the front door.
Bahama Bay Resort offers far more facilities than the standard rental community, ranging from its four heated swimming pools to an onsite restaurant and poolside bar & grill. For the younger members of the family, there is a children's pool and play area.
Our management team does a great job of keeping the property clean and tidy. Should you need our management team during your stay, they are available by telephone. Outside of regular office hours you will be given an emergency number to call should any issues arise.
Living Room
Upon entering the apartment, you will find yourself in a large open-plan Living area which contains the Kitchen, Dining Area and Living Room. The living room is located at the rear of the property. It contains two large sofas, plenty of table space and lighting, and an entertainment system compromising a large-screen television with cable TV.
The French patio door gives access to a balcony overlooking the pool area, as well as flooding the room with natural sunlight. The Living room is the ideal location should you wish to get out of the sunshine for an hour and relax with a good book.
Kitchen & Laundry Room
The modern fully fitted kitchen comes complete with every modern convenience, including an electric oven and hob, built-in microwave, fridge/freezer/ice machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There is also a good selection of cutlery and crockery (including plastic dishes and glasses for when dining on the
balcony). The only thing you need to provide is the food!
There is seating for two at the large breakfast counter and a telephone (located by the TV) from which local calls are free (ideal for ordering takeaway), and all other calls can be paid for as taken.
Should you wish to do any laundry, we have a high-capacity washer drier, iron and ironing board located in the Utility room which can be found at the front of the apartment
Bedrooms
The apartment contains three large bedrooms, allowing up to 6 adults to sleep comfortably. Two of the bedrooms are Master suites and one is a Twin room. All the bedding is provided, and the beds are made with clean linen before you arrive. Extra bedding is provided should you need it. The apartment has air conditioning throughout, so will remain at a constant cool temperature that will make you feel comfortable even if the temperatures are on the up and up outside and will also help towards giving you a good night's sleep.
Master Suite 1
The first Master Suite is located at the rear of the property with a great view out overlooking the resort pool area and landscaped scenery. It has a fantastic King sized bed and a luxurious En-Suite bathroom complete with a Roman tub/bath, a large walk-in Shower, his and hers basins and vanity mirrors, and a separate WC. The suite has its own television and a radio alarm clock, whilst storage space is no problem with a large walk-in closet. As a final touch of elegance, you even have your own doorway out onto the balcony.
Master Suite 2
The apartment's second master suite can also be found at the rear of the home. It has a King sized bed and its own television and radio alarm clock. There is a large ensuite bathroom which features a large walk-in Shower, bathtub, his and hers basins and a large vanity mirror. The bathroom has two separate doors and is shared with the home's third bedroom.
Bedroom 3
Bedrooms 3 contains two single beds making it ideal for adults or children in your party. The room is located at the front of the apartment and is next to the home's second bathroom. Ample storage space is provided for both the second master suite and bedroom 3 by a large built-in closet and drawers in both rooms.
Dining Area
The apartment has a formal open-plan dining area located between the Living room and the Kitchen. It has a large glass-topped table and six chairs and is ideal for those special dining occasions as well as more casual ones. Alternatively you could dine out on the balcony, where a
round table and four chairs have been provided.
